Lewis didn't even attempt to take the corner...

Why didn't he just back off and take the corner behind Kimi?  Because he's Lewis Hamilton, that's why.  He just can't back down.  All or nothing and this is what he gets.

Or because he was actually in front as then entered the corner.

SO ME IN THE FIA RULES WHERE IT SAYS ONE MUST WAIT FOR THE CORNER OR ONE CANT HAVE THE MOMENTUM, HE WAS PENALISED FOR CUTTING THE CHICANE, BUT HOLD ON A MINUTE, HE WAS BARGED ONTO THE CHICANE!

Because thats not racing and his car was actually ahead going into the corner, he jumped the chicane to avoid causing an "avoidable collision" and got penalised for it. Rather ironic really!

Re: Lewis didn't even attempt to take the corner...

He did cut the corner but he did slow down to let Kimmi drive in front of him, he didn't however drop behind the Ferrari, he accelerated off as they were virtualy side by side. this is probably why he has been penalised.

Absolutely right, though it saddens me to say it his car looked to be easily capable of passing Kimi's in the wet, but, Hamilton is Hamilton, gotta have that glory!! and as you say, he got his just reward.

Re: Lewis didn't even attempt to take the corner...

Why couldn't Kimi stay infront through the first corner when he was handed back his position? Slow as ********

Oh and what Hamilton did used to be called 'racing'........now its called watch out you might get penalised!

Then i suppose you would accuse the race as being boring........you dont win races sitting behind someone.....

Why is he getting this negative feedback from people like yourself  ''because he's Lewis Hamilton, thats why.''

     Pathetic
