Please, please i need tip's on how to either get the other half distracted or to just understand just how important it is to talk about these things......

I see the same names night after night....is this just an indication that you are either single, at that point in your relationship were you dont have to hug or kiss or even hold hands anymore or have great understanding partners..?

Even in the day i see the same names.....do you not have jobs or can you get away with it at work ?

Any help would be greatley appriciated....just to let you know i have had to sit through a chick flick tonight as a form of negotiation for some ''evening time''....

I come on here after a hard days(well not allways)graft to chill out as the box is crap even if it does have hundreds of channels,and like to read F1 informative threads or just downright fun threads as you get with the now infamous RCF and others.My partner does'nt mind because shes usualy downstairs playing a wierd form of scrabble on her own puter.Yuk to chick flicks too!

WOW! that's one tough lady you have.  I only get half hour lunch a work so don't post much during the day and i just HAVE to get away from them damn soaps in the evening............  Plus the kids don't let me on the computer when they're up... So yeh! how do you do it?

WOW...you sound like you have the life.....whatever you do hold on to that there lady of yours...she's golden..!!

I work from home on a computer so have a quick peek on the forum every now and then. My other half is working in Paris for a year, so at the moment i get plenty of free time and when i'm in Paris this site seems to take forever to load so I can't be bothered! 
(oops .. that should read .. ' when i'm in Paris i'm so loved up the furthest thing from my mind is this forum '  yeah .. thats better, won't get beaten up now    )

1. Sorry, I can't help you there.

2. In a relationship (with a dog and 2 cats (not literally) and the other half knows I get bored fairly easily.

3. Yes, but not telling what or who for.

4. Simple solution..... break the player (take fuse out or something) or cut the feed ie. wire.

4a. Start crying before she does, or just cry saying "It's too much for my feminine side. I don't know if my emotions will take any more." Might end your relationship, but better than a chick flick.

I'm happily married ... he's hooked on Desperate Housewives, Heroes, CSI, Eastenders and so on.  I just make sure that I record them all for him and sneak up to the computer while he watches them!

Well for myself, even though I haven't been posting as much as I used to, the studio I work for like me so much they let me work from home XD so lots of posting time available without directors looking over my shoulder. Tis great. Jeez look how late I'm posting tonight...............can't sleep for some reason :( 

Tell her you're online looking for the perfect Xmas persent for her, and you won't stop til you find it.....Did I just mention Christmas, I gonna go wash my mouth out......well my hands...erm....

LOL, you give your other half power over the remote control "here darling, you watch what you want I'll just go and check out something on the computer" reverse pyschology, they think they are gaining something and you get to do what you want.  Works for me, hubby & me celebrating silver wedding next year, so must be doing something right. Either that or he's just glad to get peace and quiet, so it could well be nagging into submission works wonders, either way, I'm all for team tactics LOL

Errr......OK!

Cool partner (loves F1 more than me!...well she just fancies the drivers!)......and sitting at my Mac at work all day means I get the chance to post, then,  sat in front of another Mac at home in the evening.

i sometimes come on here at work if i get bored and then at home. my boyfriend is a student so he works evenings and i can multitask watching tv and reading at the same time. and ive just realised how sad i sound

Well my other half goes to the pub every evening and plays pool with his drinking buddies - I go once in a while but I get bored.  A couple of nights a week I'm in hotels and getting the laptop out and coming on here to see what's going on alleviates the monotony.

Finally I'm not really a person who takes being told what to do - hubby knows better than to try and tell me not to come on here for a chat!!!!!  Anyway, I read some of the posts out to him and they make him laugh so I don't think he minds really.  He spends a lot of time looking at music and recipes on YouTube so he can't complain. 

Actually we're a bit of a back to front couple, he likes cooking and lifestyle programmes and I like anything with cars or bikes or gadgets....................
