Complaint against Alan Titchmarsh drinking on TV

I think it  was irresponsible of Alan Titchmarsh to drink alcohol on television when the cocktail waiter made cocktails. Not only does it glamourise alcohol on live daytime television, but is also impaired Alan's judgement of what was and was not acceptable. It was evident that Alan was affected by the alcohol when he made the "Aloe vera!" joke. The alcohol then led him to take two platter covers and pretend they were breasts. Not at all suitable for daytime television. If he continues to carry out such unacceptable behaviour then I think he should be removed from television. Does anyone agree?

no I do not agree it sounds as though you have nothing else to do with your life apart from make stupid complaints.Part of growing up and becoming a teenager is to experiment with alcohol so I as a teenager I would have not firstly been watching Alans show and secondly would not have been influenced. The thing thats missing from todays teenagers is respect for anyone including themselves. AS a teenager I did experiment with my friends alcohole but we all enough sence and respect not to cause any troublem,so it as nothing to do with tv programes.

Good heavens, Alan Titchmarsh is an entertaining presenter .  What absolute tosh you speak. He is not  irresponsible . He is a decent presenter with a normal sense of humour and he is a genuine human being.  More than  you can say for obviously at least one of his watchers!!  Get a life  young man. Go get a job selling double glazing, then you won't need to watch daytime telly!!

I agree that there is too much drinking on TV programmes altogether, just take look at the soap operas, lunchtime drinks, drinks after work, drinks when they get home and then back down the pub.As for Titchmarsh drinking on his live show he may aswell be sat there with a needle sticking in his arm...after all alcohol is a drug.     Stick out tongue
