How would you improve the This Morning website?

The This Morning site is being upgraded and we want to know how you'd like it to change. Do you want to watch more highlights or find out more about the presenters? Perhaps, you want more information about the features or better interaction with other viewers?

Whatever you want, let us know. Leave your comments in this forum along with a wish list of what you'd like to see. You never know - we might contact you and invite you to tell us more

Is it possible to add This Morning to the ITV player.

A friend of mine was on Monday's show and I missed it and wanted to catch up on here yet I couldnt find anything.

    Thanks

You will probably struggle to get any kind of a response to your post as most members have given up on the TM forum.

This is the third version of the forum I have been a member of - and the worst.

The two main problems are the mods and new threads.  When you try to chat or post a comment it takes at least ten minutes before it appears.  We have also lost the ability to create new threads.

So many people used to be members of this forum, but have since gone else where due to frustration. No

    Def have to agree Julie, when all the oldies were on the old TM, we had good fun, lots of laughs, as well as good debates, and you didn't have to wait forever for your post to clear, it was 'instant;

Also a lot of peeps, just couldn't get back, they tried password after password, and still couldn't get back on, the old TM, the very first one was the best.

    Just passing through...

    Hello!

Like antoinnette I wanted to watch something on itvplayer. Then I recognised an old 'face' underneath her, then saw another apparent old poster underneath her, so thought I'd say 'hello'.

Incase you have short memories I was known (amongst other things) for post count charts!

So hello Julie Scott! Hello Pippa!

I'm intrigued by you though pippa - you appear to be under a different handle these days, and hence your 'face' I do not recognise! Would you mind if I asked how I would have known you, way back when?

...Blimey, it must be nearly 7 years since I was last a regular member - how time flies!

    Re: Just passing through...

Blimey, this place IS quiet these days, isn't it!

I made a bit of a discovery last night, too. I saw a link to an archived version of a BBC site (a pre revived Doctor Who site, as it happens), and using the same archiving website, found a saved version of one of the old TM forums. Its a later version, post two mod clear-outs, but its got my final posts there. I never thought I'd see the fetching blue and green colour scheme again.

I'm still trying to work out who you are by the way Pippa, I vaguely feel I remember someone being Pippa, but its a long time ago and I know that definitely wasn't your forum name!

I shall keep an eye out for a reply. :)

    Bye for now.

    Hi Colin.

Fellow tumbleweed here also just passing through. I was blissmissy back in the days of Madamboogie, blackcat, purple grape and others I can't recall at the moment because I have aged somewhat since then.

What's happened to this place? Have they driven everyone away?

    April :)

Firstly I would make it much easier to access - I have tried a few times putting in 'This Morning' and it comes up with all sorts.  Easier access for me - the simpler it is to access the better I always use KISS!!

Re: How would you improve the This Morning website?

The site is quite easy to navigate, even for people such as me with sight problems. However, where are the phone numbers, address, email etc for viewers to contact the show? These should be easy to find and I am still looking. Also, the forum is not as well used as it could be. Perhaps this could be encouraged with a link at the TOP of the page, rather than hidden at the bottom amongst the small print. Encouragement for viewers to use the forum via the programme too might help.

A word about mods...forums do need them, but the idea of a forum is for people to express their views, good or bad. A moderator should be there to check posts for abuse etc with the ability to edit or delete, but surely not approve every post! This is the only forum I know of that actuallty has mods approve each new thread. If this practice is to continue, more mods need to be appointed so that the forum stays active.

Oh and I have now found the 'contact us' page...it needs more prominence i.e. at the top of the page. Big Smile
