Yes, I too have been very unimpressed with ITV Player. There is no telling when the program you want to watch will be made available. It could be within minutes of the broadcast or sometimes days. If the 'player' works, it's the advertisements that really annoy me. You can't 'fast forward' through a program without having to watch those excrutiating adverts. They don't even provide you with any variety with the ads at each break, it's the same ones over and over again. The companys who buy these slots must surely realise that this must be counterproductive. My view is that if you can't provide a reliable service with the mnimum of irritations, then don't bother at all. Leave it to the BBC who have certainly got it right.

I don't use it often but I've never had a problem with it when I have.

Yes I constantly have problems with ITV Player. BBC iplayer is excellent yet ITV is absolutely rubbish - its nowhere near the standard of the other channels. Even channel  is better!!!!!!!!!

I totally agree I have just tried myself to was last nights X Factor and what a pain, I don't think I will both as mine kept reloading every few seconds and it is really annoying when you are trying to listen to the songs and the judges comments. Please itv try and sort this out

    Re: itv i player

Was watching prime suspect. It crashed half way through 2nd ad. had to reload and it then starts from the beginning. Absolute load of rubbish. Much better to watch BBC I player.
