    Colleen Nolan

I've watched Dancing on Ice for the last time.  It is disgusting that this middle-aged woman is being voted through at the expense of younger women who can actually skate.  It has totally spoiled the show for me.  At least, although BBC were crazy enough to put John Sergeant in in the first place, it was made quite obvious, even to him, he'd outstayed his welcome.  As far as I am concerned Colleen Nolan outstayed her welcome after the second week.  And I'm baffled at Ruthie's qualifications to be a judge on this show.  Enlightenment would be appreciated.

I completely AGREE, 2 weeks in a row - she should have gone. Like you - I don't even want to watch it anymore as it's not about the 'ice skating' and it's about Colleen as a more popular TV person thatn the others. COLLEEN NOLAN - needs to GO! Thanks to Jason and Robin on their comments on saving Jessica, saying that both couples should not have been in the final and that it is a popularity context now. Petition to sign would be good and send it to the show producers!!!! with enough time though to re-instate Zoe so she has chance to learn her new routine...............

It's so easy to find similar postings all over the internet.  If so many people agree that Coleen Nolan should've gone home by now (and I am one of those people) then who on earth is voting for her to stay!!!  I can only pin my hopes on her wrist being too badly injured when she has her x-ray this week for her to continue.  I mean otherwise we're potentially looking at Ray being in the skate off!  Now come on.......Sad

    Re: Colleen Nolan

I couldn't agree more, this season has been totaly ruined by the publics voting, or should I say the way the public's votes are counted and seem to have more influence than the judges'. The way these votes are wieghed against the judges needs to be looked at and changed - fast! If it's not, I may too have watched my last of this otherwise wonderful series. This, after the debacle of Todd (who should have been off the first week) has ruined it for me this year. I'm sure Collen is a wonderful person, but she can't skate anywhere near the level that Zoe can and should have gone in the second week. It has nothing to do with age, I'm now 55 (it was my birthday on Sunday and this didn't make my day!) and would willingly have a go, but the show is called 'Dancing on Ice' and should be judged by the contestant's ability to do exactly that! What most viewers want (I would imagine) is to watch people who can dance well on ice, not simply to be entertained (there's plenty of other shows for that) by people wobbling about on the ice. The show has lost lots of good skaters well before their time and has taken this pleasure from us and their opportunity to continue that they worked hard for and deserved. Come on all you Loose Women watchers, all of Ireland, or whoever is voting for Colleen, vote for the person you think is skating and dancing the best, not just for your favourite personality!!

    Re: Colleen Nolan

Dancing on ice should be called a wooden top on ice, Colleen its time to walk you have ruined the show this year and at least John Sergeant had the sense to walk when it thought the public had gone too far.The solution might be next year is that whoever is last after judges the judges marks should be automatically in the dance off and whoever is top should automatically go through. So Colleen please go you make bambi look good

You hit the nail on head. I enjoyed watching last years show, but this year is a joke. The wife has Loose women on as I write this, and they are all cheering and saying how great she is,,, what rubbish.

I will no longer be watching Dancing on ice, as it is now a joke

    Re: Colleen Nolan

I do think that Colleen is in an impossible situation, as if she does go voluntarily, there'll be an outcry a la John Sergeant. It's the public who have put her here. I generally like her on Loose Women, although I have just watched her justifying the fact that she's still there by saying that she tries really hard and has come from nothing, which didn't impress me. So has Donal and there's no comparison! I don't know how much skating Zoe had done, but she should have been in the final with Ray and Jess if the best skaters should go through (IMHO!)

I'm actually quite worried that she'll seriously injure herself as she is simply not up to what is being asked of her now. She already has a suspected fracture- must she break her neck? How will her fans feel then as it is they who are putting her in danger.

    Re: Colleen Nolan

Could not agree more Nolan should have left show after third week, it is only her buddies who have kept in her!!! to the the expense of fitter more graceful  celebrity skaters. Time to hang up your skate Ms nolan and for the public voting for her kindly listen to the judges!!!

Bye MS Nolan hope not to see you in final.

    Re: Colleen Nolan

Having watched tonights performances,it's very clear who SHOULD be in the final however all the sympathy voters out there will more than likely put the week 2 performance through at the expense of one of the very talented celebs, very very unfair

    Ray to win :)

    Re: Colleen Nolan

The viewers votes can't save her, the most she could get is five points and that would not be enough to keep her out of the bottom two!

    Re: Colleen Nolan

Colleen may not be the best skater, but she started at the same place as the rest of the skaters. She has worked VERY hard to get where she is. How many of you "Ray fans" would have the guts to do what she has done. I wonder if he would. I am not going to speculate as it would not be sporting. And I will not be accused of not being that. Ray does not deserve to win. Not that he is not good, he started ahead of the pack. Back to Colleen and lets hear no more bad mouthing of her.

    Re: Colleen Nolan

WHY?????    She's an absolute joke.    How she can't see it I don't know.   Don't tell me that she deserves to be there over any of the other three.   She just isn't good enough for the final!!!   and the favouritism shown to he by everyone, well pass me the sick bucket please!

    Re: Colleen Nolan

She is not a Joke, She has worked so hard. I am so sick of people dissing Coleen. Let her have her moment and be proud of it! She is leaving tonight and this may be the better decision but let her alone. Anyone left dissing Coleen is just a Joke themselves.
