after watching tuesdays epsiode where debbie tells sarah everythings going to be ok im your mum, when was sarah told that debbie was her mum, i thought that she had never been told as debbie didnt want her to know and jo andys ex brought her up and sarah thought of her as her mother, was she told when jo left her with the dingles. why wasant it shown as surely she would have been confused and debbie woud have had to try to explain things to her .

Like:

I was only a kid when I had you, but your father wasn't.  I didn't want you so I gave you away, but don't worry I have changed my mind now as you dad is a wife beater.  Oh - and my family are a lot of rouges.   

Still they could all end up on Jeremy Kyle in a few years.

Don't be unkind. People make mistakes and circumstances change. It's what happens now that's important.

Last night, Debbie agreed with Andy about needing to discuss reasonable access to Sarah but he was being unreasonable. Can it be he's scared that if Debbie went for custody, she'd win?

I'm not sure that was unkind they were simply stating the facts, I am puzzled though why when this young child is being passed from one family to another (Debbie, Emily, Jo, Lisa, Andy and now Debbie again) the social services seem oddly absent in her life. And no one seems to go to court for custudy they just take her when they feel like it !

Sarah has been rather passed around but I assume Debbie has signed the forms that gave Andy parental responsibility as the only time Social Services were involved was when Jo was going to adopt Sarah.

The Dingles let Diane take Sarah because Andy, despite his recent behaviour, is her father. They could have said no and got solicitors involved but at that point, they didn't know Debbie would be released soon. If she had stuck to her plan of pleading guilty to manslaughter, the judge in Sarah's case would give Andy a residency order.  

There is no "bond" at all between Debbie and Sarah and the scenes together are laughable with Debbie really wooden around the little girl.  

 I agree that its unbelievable that Social Services would not have been involved at some time.  Lisa annoys me when she "dictates" when her own father can see her. 

Sorry but I have to disagree. There is a bond between Debbie and Sarah but she seems unhappy about the idea of Debbie being her mummy. After all, she must still be missing Jo

I was wondering that as well leah.  Also I thought Andy was being very unreasonable when Debbie said she wanted to see Sarah more, when he came out of prison he was able to move back into the farm with Jo and Sarah with no problem.

I THINK IT WELL BE INTERESTING TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS WITH DEBBIE/ANDY AND SARAH WHEN BOTH CAIN AND CHARITY ARE BACK, NEITHER OF THEM WILL STAND FOR ANDYS CARRYING ON .  . I THINK IT WILL BE GREAT WHEN THERE BOTH BACK BOTH GOOD CHARACTERS IN EMMERDALE AND GOOD ACTORS.

because was'nt Debbie known as Aunty Debbie ?

Did'nt Sarah think Katie was her mum, then Jo and know Debbie 

She's been passed around alot. 

Sarah has been passed around a lot because she also thought Emily was her mummy.

What annoys me is Andy being such a hypocrite! He is guilty of murder and domestic abuse but has the nerve to stand there and tell Debbie she's trouble that Sarah doesn't need.

That was so bad and i think its really unfair that now Debbie has to ask permission to see Sarah when a couple of months ago she was living with the Dingles and Andy had to ask.
