    Sngle parents

It is well known how Jeremy feels about single parents living on benefits. Where I live in Scotland, there is a single parent unit which supplies brand new prams, cots etc. and gives a £500 grant to single mums on the birth of their child. Talk about encouraging!

All i know is that out there, women are having kids just to get benefits and to easily find somewhere to live. I know one or two people that have done exactly that. All it's done is cause long term problems regarding money and the father of the baby.

When I had my first child, all I could afford was a second pram and cot. They were spotless. My husband had a job also. So yes, second hand would do no harm and make them think about children 2,3 and 4

You have got it in one. I know numerous girls who have got pregnant to obtain benefits and a council house. There parenting skills are practically non existent and their idea of wholesome eating is out of a baby jar, a microwave packet or MacDonalds. I worry about this generation. And the ones with the power to change it are not listening. Its totally aggravating
