i agree with you too on this, jeremy doesn't deserve to be crytisized the way he is, as he is trying to help people.
I must admit i don't watch the show as much as i used to but i still like him.
He can be very sensative side to him when he meets kids with a disability for example, or when he talks to people who are being domestically abused by their husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend.
I hope that you can understand what i had to say on this issue.

agree hun, these drains on society need a kick up the butt.... makes me ashamed to be british... the sad thing is , these people are reflective of Britain today....
Lets be honest here and really think about the amount of people who have successfully turn their lives around after appearing on the show. I reckon it's only a very small percentage and it begs the question, would they have been able to sort out their differences with the help of more conventional methods of counselling and support? A person needs to be in the right frame of mind to make life changes and i'm doubtful that the need to appear on national telly is the correct frame of mind.
I've watched the show a few times and there is a definite element of people appearing on the show for all the wrong reasons. Perhaps it gains a little local notorioty or infamy which they are proud of? Perhaps they just want to show off on the telly? Perhaps they just want a free DNA test or get some 'answers' from an often incorrect polygraph test? Whatever the reason, will they really get the help they need from a hypnotherapist who is labelled as some sort of genius but on the frequent occasions when Graham Stainer does appear on the stage or in backstage link, he seems anything but a genius.
Some of the guests on the show are a sad indictment of society today...it's not just a British thing though, although the media and other groups try their best to convince us that Britain is broken. All countries have their social and economic issues which cause anti-social problems for many people regardless of age, sex or race. There's no doubt that there are many aspects of social life in the UK which are appalling and need some drastic change but are shows like Jeremy Kyle helping or fuelling the problems?
I personally think Jeremy Kyle is not helping in the long run...it's primarily a show about ratings, advertising and revenue. I don't think the guests welfare is that much of a high priority for the producers.
Just my opinion though....I'm sure Jeremy is a decent bloke though and he certainly does speak a lot of sense in between shouting and ranting at guests plus using polygraph results as fact which I think is terrible.
