Well, I was surprised when Jimmy and Nicola got together but I didn't think there would be a pregnancy involved!! Poor thing' she really does not know what to do for the best, does she?

Having a true friend like Laurel is fantastic at a time lke this, she's helping her a lot.

In today's episode (Tuesday19th May) Nicola has tentatively made up with Jimmy (strictly "no touching"), on her terms.When Jimmy visited her he left a very happy man but without Nicola knowing that Jimmy knows about the baby.This is quite a tough decision for Nicola (& any woman), the trouble is she is now hinting at adoption.

Jimmy longs to have a child and after his previous girlfriend aborted his baby (which left him devastated) he really does not want history to repeat itself. Jimmy is a sensitive soul despite his "tough guy" image!!

I would really appreciate and value your comments on this subject. Thanks a lot!!

i feel sorry for both jimmy and nicola, nicola is stuck in a very difficult postion she is a bit to late to feel she can go thourgh with  a abortion, she is ambitious (and has just been offered more propects and money at work),   and not maternal at all, yet you have jimmy who  is desperate for a baby, first he maried sadie who never wanted kids then kelly had  a abortion behind his back now he finds out that nicola is pregnant. it will be good to see how this pans out.

Jimmie proposes next week, I do hope they get married and bring  up the baby, I think there could be some funny stories there and your heart goes out to Jimmy who is desperate to be a dad.  It could be the making of Nicola as well.   Lexi will be well put out as she was the one who wanted a baby with Carl, thwarted by Nick yet again!

I hope so too.  I love Jimmy,  his expressive, lived-in craggy face and his attempts at romantic poetry.  He and Nicola work well together  -  never dull.     Please writers, lets have a happy occasion!  Jimmy deserves it and so do we.

I think this is one of the best storylines at the minute, i never would have paired Jimmy and Nicola up but they go together so well. It really is a good storyline, im looking forward to seeing them both as parents it should definately be entertaining!

One thing, where did Nicola's bump suddenly come from?   One day she wasn't showing the next day boom!

Nicola's pregnancy definitely seems to have made her a nicer person.   When she got over the shock of nearly being knocked over she was more concerned about how Rodney was, the old Nicola would have been out for compo. 

I really like Nicola now they have softened the edges of her character and given her a caring side.  I wouldnt like the horrid Nicola to disappear completely though!  I just love her with Jimmy and hope they have a future together.

am i write in saying that nicola is pregnant in real life? cos she looks so real with bump. .
