From watching tonights episode (Friday) it showed Mikey North with a blackeye.  Is this from when he was attacked at easter???.  I thought we wouldnt see this til late June as they film a month or two ahead of real time.  Can anyone confirm this???

The curious thing is that Gary's black eye had no storyline connection, yet the attack on Mikey North was reported as having left him with a jaw broken in two places - so badly that it was pinned and plated.

If that report was genuine (and perish the thought that the tabloids should ever exaggerate such a thing) then I'd say Mikey North would still be looking and feeling much worse than he did in the scene sporting the black eye.

Yeah exactly.  In the episode he said he got the blackeye from debt collecting.  But I am not sure if this is the injury he got from the attack at easter as he had to have surgery on his broken jaw.  I think I read he had to have plates put in.  So really he wouldnt look to great from the surgery so I dont think its possible for him to be in scenes at the end of May when the attack happened at the beginning of April.  I think he may not be in much scenes soon as filming must be two months ahead from when he was attacked so that would be June time when he disappears.  I am a bit confused on the timings of filming so I could be wrong
