    Nasty Nathan: Love him

He's smug, arrogant and so unapologetic with it.

What is not to like about this guy? He's hilarious. The writers have made it quite clear, as has Lyndon Ogbourne, that Nathan is better with words than his fists and he plays dirty by relying on his mama and papa's cash.

It's going to be very good when he realises he's not the eldest child, that his whole family has been built on lies and that he may have to work for his fortune.

I like him too and suspect his interest in his sister is more than a brotherly one!Confused

Ofcourse!!! He's not the eldest child and his father is married to Faye. I hadn't thought through the implications. What a fabulous twist.!

The way Nathan carries on you would think he is the youngest child not Will.  His childish prank letting the horses loose then letting Katie take the blame just because she told him she didn't want anything to do with him.  Obviously noone has ever said no to him before.

Mark and Natasha certainly made a very poor job of bringing up their 2 elder children.  Spoilt young monsters.

Doesn't every parent want their children to have what they didn't?

    Re: Nasty Nathan: Love him

Responsibility for your own actions, respect for other people, good manners, the ability to be gracious, these are characteristics decent parents pass on to their children.  Nathan plays at business and treats his parents employees like dirt.  Maisie latches on to any village low life that she thinks will shock her parents, and aswell as jumping into bed with them, she invites them to her parents house.  She had a big society wedding and left her husband after a few days.   I'm all for giving your children the best life possible, but I also expect them to show maturity and some appreciation.

    Re: Nasty Nathan: Love him

I realise I've got to the boring stage now but one last observation.  I think that because of their upbringing, and everything being handed to them on a platter  (and let me reiterate, I believe in giving your children the best life possible, but responsiblity should come with privilege) Nathan and his sister have no substance, no feeling of self worth or accomplisment.  So Nathan struts around ordering people about and throws little fits of infantile jealousy, and his parents indulge him, and Maisie does her best to self destruct and the parents answer to her obvious personality problems is to put a car and a few credit cards at her disposal.

    Re: Nasty Nathan: Love him

The parents have clearly been much more interested in each other and building a multi million pound business than their children - they all went away to school I believe. I am not suggesting they don't love their offspring but I do think it goes some way to explain some of their actions.

    Re: Nasty Nathan: Love him

I agree about Nathan and Maisie. Both of them need to grow up and realise that they're incredibly lucky to have parents who can support them in that lifestyle although Natasha at least, is showing signs of expecting them to start supporting themselves.

I reckon Mark will end up favouring Ryan over his two older Wylde kids. Ryan works and wasn't born with a silver spoon in his gob.

Could well be right Vader, he is far more appealing than Maisie and Nathan.
