    Molly and Kevin

Why do the Writers pick on Tyrone like this he gets a wife who he's mad about then all of a sudden she is going to have a affair and i suppose we will have the cliche who's the dad storyline after molly becomes pregnant and she doesn't know if it's Tyrone's or Kevin's.

    Re: Molly and Kevin

its a ridicoulous storyline, molly and kevin are an unlikey pair and ive noticed with many storylines on corrie and eastenders you can see some things coming before they happen. Indifferent

    Re: Molly and Kevin

This is a totally ludicrous plot, I think the writers have lost the plot on this one.  We the stupid viewers are supposed to swallow that Molly who is as straight up and honest as they come, loves her husband and hasnt been married more than a few months, is to jump into bed with her husband's boss, a man who lives on the same street is old enough to be her father and has the charisma of a stoat - MADNESS!

    Re: Molly and Kevin

I think no one wants this storyline to happen. And when Kevin has his affair with Molly, I hope he remembers his reaction to Stape and Rosie. The age difference was probably less than the diff between Mol and Kev!

I hate this storyline.  Kevin is 20 years older than Molly (Stape is 12 years older than Rosie) and the whole situation is forced and unbelievable.  Molly is a sweet, homeloving, newly married and she actually looks more like she could be Kevins daughter than either lumpy Rosie or gangly Sophie.  Between this and tarty Rosies windfall I'm having to fast forward so much that viewing time is reduced to about 15 minutes.

    Re: Molly and Kevin

It's all a bit desperate isn't it?  The writers are painfully shoe-horning in reasons for this affair - Kev's doe-eyed gazing at the very plain (sorry, but call a spade etc.) Molly and Tyrone's petulant behaviour making Molly despair of him.  I can just about accept that Kev might be suffering some sort of mid-life crisis but - Molly?  Ok, Tyrone is behaving like a prize jerk but would that immediately propel her int the arms of pint-sized boring person Kevin?  (Would you have an affair with someone named Kevin?  Now if he was called Ragnar or Mario or Auberon that might change things).

    Re: Molly and Kevin

I can see why Molly is feeling neglected by Tyrone. His behaviour at the moment is unbelievable! Okay, he's suspicious of Connie but he doesn't have to be nasty about it. I'm not surprised Molly and Jack are annoyed.

My other half is called Kevin and I quite like men with that name.

Stranger things have happened in real life.

Talking of Tyrone, did anybody else notice he is getting a bald patch on the back of his head?

    Re: Molly and Kevin

as we have been saying on this forum for ages - the scriptwriters have lost the plot completely and don't seem to be briefed anymore on past stories.  Kevin and Molly - just stupid, And Tony and Marie - where's this telephone call from Carla to Marie saying Tony killed her husband - she is only in the USA - they do have phones there don't they?  We had the oppurtunity to bring in new people because of the flats but who lives in them - Dev and Luke.  The flat attached to the builders yard is empty and the house next to Ashleys, the flat over the kebab shop is empty and no one has done anything with the workshops under the arches at the end of the street since the were built.  Tony's plans for extending Underworld are even mentioned nor is his catalogue business, Janice the thief is part of the team and to be made PA handling the petty cash - oh come on.  Dev only ever works in one of his 6 or 7 shops but seems to have disappeared completely now since his embarrassment and when does his Uncle's visa expire and does he have a work permit?

    Re: Molly and Kevin

Molly seems to be doing alot of encouraging.  Perhaps if he'd been ignored Kevin would have just mooched through his mid life crisis and his infatuation would have faded to nothing.  Tyrone is being impossible at the moment, but it doesn't say much for Mollys integrity when she succumbs to flattery (and she obviously saw the "jump your bones " remark as flattery!) and temptation at the first hurdle in her marriage.  I don't have any sympathy for Kevin but in a way his actions are a little more understandable than Molly's.  Married to ghastly Sally, horrible daughter etc etc, but Molly is a newly wed with a loving (though thick) husband.  I'm finding this storyline almost impossible to watch and the Rosie/Luke scenes are even worse.  Lots of fast forwarding.

The Windassess live next door to Ashley and I think Darren and Teresa live in the flat over the kebab shop.  Your'e right about Uncle Umed though wasn't he supposed to be going home a while ago?

    Re: Molly and Kevin

sorry - should have read Ashley's shop - the house to the right of his shop and then the road then the new flats.  I thought DArren and Terrisa were in the flat over the Corner shop.  If not then that's another one that is empty.

I'm hating this storyline. When Kevin said he wanted to "jump on Molly's bones'' I cringed with embarrassment for the actors. What with this and the Maria and Tony storyline I feel like switching off for good.
