    F1ticketpro is a scam....please advise

We bought two grandstabd tickets for the British GP in Feb from F1ticketpro.com and paid via Paypal. We did not receive the tickets and missed the event.

We tried calling them and mailed them loads of time since May as we did not hear from them. The  telephone number on the website is incorrect.

I request all of you who have been the victim of this website to report this agent/seller to Paypal so that a complaint can be filed against them. Also file a report with your local police.

We thought that Paypal checks the credentials of its sellers as its considered to be a trusted and secured way of payment.

Paypal needs a numer of complaints to file a dispute against the seller. I request each one of you to please report the matter with Paypal and your police.

Could someone please shed some light on how to deal with this situation, and how can we get our hard earned money back.

    Thanks

There is another post which is remarkably similar to yours, just recently posted by sugardevil, called "F1ticketpro is a scam".  I've quoted it below.

There were other posts about this website before, as mentioned by sugardevil.  It's hugely disappointing for the fans who get ripped off by criminal activity like this.  The only help I can offer is, that if you used a credit card to pay on Paypal, then your card company will refund you.  Apart from that, I can only wish both of you the best of luck.

    "Hello,

we bought two grandstand tickets for the british GP in feb from F1ticketpro and paid via Paypal. We were told that the tickets would reach 10-14 days before the race. They havnt reached till date.

Once some Steve William mailed us when we wanted to upgrade our tickets sometime in march. Since then we have tried to call but its a incorrect number and sent numerous emails but noone has replied.

We have spoken to Paypal but they need enough complaints against them.as also mentioned by someone in earlier posts. I request all of you who have been a victim of this Scam to please come forward and report this to PayPal and your local police.

Lets get our hard earned mony back.

    Thanks... "
