    keep Primeval

I was so angry when my daughter told me there would be no new series.  Why is ITV wasting its time and money on so much "reality tv" and cutting a great adventure program like Primeval?  My daughter and I watch it, my nephew and niece watch it and even my son & his 1 year old watch it.  Saying there is not enough audience is a load of rubbish - where did you go to ask? there are thousands of us!!!!

Millions of us actualy, just not as many millions of us watching than use to be, due to multiple reasons.

I think it comes from the amount it costs to make and the amound of viewers, while BGT costs the same as Primeval it gets about 8 million more viewers... but i agree you cannot just have reality T.V shows you need good and solid drama. Although i do understand why Primeval was taken off air and in some ways it is a good thing no matter how hard it is to admitt it. But in more ways it is a bad thing as Primeval has now ended on a terrible episode and an even worse season with little chance to redeem itself by going back to what it was. Also they can't finsih the major story arches of that have been there since season 1 unless that is they find another broadcaster which i am kind of hoping for but only if season 4 is an absolutely great improvement and they rid them selves on Jason Flemming (sp?)/ Super Danny Bond - he has proved beyond doubt that neither the chracter nor actor should be  involved with the show.

I so agree.  This program is watched by so many generations.  My son is devastated and there isn't anything else on tv worth watching.  There is way too much reality tv with such rubbish as Katie and Peter Stateside which is absolute trash and a waste of money.  When they quote that only 5 million watch Primeval then this is not correct as you can imagine that this is a family show and a program that would be watched together.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that someone will take over this from ITV and continue with this excellant show.

I think the main reason they canceled the show on ITV is the fact they sold(or are selling) the show to the US. An American version and movie are in the works(planning stage?)I would think that showing the show on BBCA and the SCI_fi channel would pay for new episodes.
