Please oh Please listen to the voice of your viewing public before it is to late. I sat down tonight to watch the Bill thinking I may have been a bit hasty in my treatment of the changes but after watching it for 30 minutes or so tonight I just had to turn it off, I found it boring uneventful and the constant background music annoying. The filming is tacky and amerturish and find the new  beginning title music plus the intros for the commercial breaks are extremly annoying. My family and freinds have watched the Bill since it first broke onto our screens all those years ago, But if the people who control ITV do not listen to their viewers they will kill off a great British programme or maybe that was the plan if so its working. I am a firm believer in the old saying if it aint broke dont fix it and the new changes to the Bill stand as proof.  Please ITV return the Bill we all know and love and put this lastest tedius boring pathetic version back where it belongs on the cutting room floor and send the producer over to work in america where they settle for badly filmed cop programmes with constant tacky background music. The only reason I could think the talented cast of actors have stayed on is probably due to the fact of recession and ever increasing unemployment.It has gone from the best police drama on British  TV to probably one of the worst overnight well done ITV.
