what do ppl think of this storyline? its strange charity is going to marry this man but never says to him oh btw  i have a daughter and granddaughter. but then debbie did not get a invite to the wedding

 

but it just happens that michael  meets debbie and starts a affair with her. does anyone else think  that michael knows  debbie is charity daughter and is been a total *** by having a affair with her.  charity has to find out   and thats why the wedding does not happen?

 

and debbie needs to get some morals i CANT believe she would be with a man who she knows is with someone else  even if it is just 4 fun

How can you say that? We haven't seen her for years. We have no knowledge of how her character has evolved since we last saw her.

I am  totally shocked by  this DESPERATE storyline,  it  must be  Emma Atkins LOOKING  FOR  A  JOB

and  calling  in  a  favour  or  two,  but  as  the  bride  to  this  character is  the  beginning of  the  end.

When  we  watch  soap  we  have  to  have  a  sort  of  balance  of  reality  we  can  associate  with  and  when  I heard  it  from  a  mate  I  called her  a  liar,  but  now  red faced  I have  to  vent  and  say  to  the  writers 

Crossroads, Brookside, Dynasty, and Dallas...........take  heed!!!!!!!!!!

 

I think if it had been a big surprise  and twist when Charity is revealed as Michael's bride on her wedding day (isnt she about 15 years older than him?) it may have been Ok but the hype and constant trailers on ITV about her return has spoilt it.   You must be a Martian if you dont know by now that she is his secret fiance.  

im suprised by all the posts on here saying dont want charity back, i thought charity was great in it before and shes a good actress , its true u do need new faces as well but we have had them a lot recently , the sharmas, the bartons, faye and ryan, and the spodes , (i no thhere bornig at mo but r meant to b set to get good storylines) . although cant understand this wedding , y hasant debbie been told her mums getting married, and surelty charity has told micheal ive got a daughter whos 18 (or whatever she is) called debbie she lives in emmerdale ,.

There's worse storylines at the minute. What about Maisie Wylde giving away a £400 pair of shoes simply because she's not sure about the colour?

Honestly Emmerdale have as many Dingles as they do plotholes [ie. Too many of both] Its like ITV thought we would be too stupid to connect the dots with this.

Charity was born in 1976.  She was only 13 when Debbie was born in October 1989.  I'm guessing that Michael is in his 30's. 

 

Wasn't Debbie only 15 when Sarah was born?  Which would have made Charity a grandmother at the age of 28.  No wonder we think she's older than her years!
