    fallen out with best friend?

    hello everyone...

I wondered if anyone on this site has ever experienced a friendship where, despite being really close, you keep falling out?

It's something I've been through and I wondered what it was about close (esp. female) friendships that means that it's often the one you're closest to that you keep falling out with.

I'm trying to put together a short documentary on the subject and it would be great to hear from anyone who is in this situation. What are your experiences?

Think we are now a society that makes all types of relationships more difficult, partners, parents and adult kids, brothers and sisters, friends, neighbours, increasing division, as orwell predicted, is it lack of trust, or respect, people becoming more insulting with less good manners, more aggessive, competative, jealous, less confident, less content with their lot, more of a self society, combination of all. l do think that there is an influence that we should all be feisty, tough, hard, etc, take it on the chin, laugh it off, re insults and abuse starting at school, but l dont think many people do, they soak it up, brood on it, affecting confidence, feel insecure, hurt, some turn it inwards causing themselves to suffer, some turn it outwards causing others to suffer, often their  nearest, occassionally strangers.  But is it spontaneous and a natural progession, or is it contrived and orchestrated for other ends.
