Woof Woof!!! big doggy licks to you all!!! Well, my name is Honey and I am a rescue dog from a small village named Arambol in Goa, India. I was found as a pup by my owners who were living out there at the time. There are many homeless dogs in Goa and I was one of them. Life as street dog is very tough over there. We generally hang around in packs and stick to our own territories. If a dog that is not from your pack sets one paw on your territory, they are in for it! Dreadful things can happen to dogs in Goa and for us female dogs it can be even harder. People do not want to know us because we end up having litter after litter of pups and this is not good because it makes the dog problem in Goa a constant increase. There was no hope for me - but I was one of the lucky ones. When my owners travelled back to England, they made a journey straight back to Goa to fly me over to England and spend the rest of my life with them! It was a huge adventure, with lots of tears along the way. I hope that my story will inspire even more people to give a warm and loving home to a dog in need and help them know that there are people out there that they can trust and love just as much as I do of my owners.
