On that thread where a poster wants them to go, it is overwhelmed by fans disagreeing, so I created this thread.

Faye and Ryan (along with Natasha, Mark, Maisie, Nathan, John, Moira, the Sharmas) have brought me back to Emmerdale, and I expect a lot of other people who were eager for new things in the show. 

Kim and James are great additions. Long may they stick around. 

I cant believe people are saying they are boring! Look at some of the characters they have on Emmerdale and you'll see boring!

I'm the same as you when it comes to these characters bringing me back to Emmerdale, they were much needed and i hope they are around for a long time. From an interview with the producer a while ago he did say that Faye and Ryan are characters of the future so it sounds promising!

And not to mention they are very easy on the eye ;-)  

They were the first characters he brought on board (Faye was anyway)

Dont you mean "hate" rather than "heart"??

Faye and Ryan are good characters, especially Ryan who I think is a very good actor.   There is still much mileage in them rather than dullards like Eric Pollard, the hideous Val and creepy Lizzie.  However good a character may be someone will still moan about them and pull them to pieces.

I have to agree with you, this time last year i didnt watch Emmerdale. It was just boring but now with all the new characters im hooked back in.

As I have said previously here, I went through a stage where  felt this storyline becoming tedious, and then warmed to it again as it moved on. I am still enjoying it, at this stage I find the characters of Faye and Ryan far and away more intriguing than any of the Wyldes. I would be happy if the conclusion of the storyline, at least this stage of it, was that the Wyldes ended up leaving; all 5 of them, and Faye and Ryan stayed put.

I think Faye, in particular, has had more character development than Natasha. She's mixed better with other characters.

The two of them just look to integrate so much better, I agree
