Thank you Carol Malone for your rant about the PM allegedly taking anti depressants and being under strain...all of which is media speculation. 

Point 1 - EVERYONE has the right to medical confidentiality, and who is she to stick her nose into anyones medical history?

Point 2 - As mentioned, many people in history have suffered depression (including Churchill) and have still gone on to do much good for this country and indeed the world...or would her ilk have rather us not had Churchill in office and possibly have lost the war? 

Point 3 - People who have mental health problems have enough to deal with, without suffering her kind of ignorant prejudice. Has she not seen the advertisements on tv about the stigma surrounding mental illness and the campaign to stop it? 

Point 4 - Yes she is entitled to an opinion, but so are the rest of the A.T. guests, and she displayed very bad manners as she continued to shout them down and not allow them their proper say.

I hope A.T. programme makers will take note, I am not a happy viewer at the moment.

With her dickonian attitude to this illness I sincerely hope that Carol Malone or anyone within her family do not suffer from depression it is an awful debilitating illness and not just for the sufferer. 

How dare she imply that Brown is suffering from a mental illness...............yes it is a mental illness but NOT in the way that she was portraying it. It is a chemical imbalance which can be treated with the right medication which will restore the chemical balance and the sufferer will function as they did prior to the illness
