    TV Ads

Is it any wonder that mmanners are deteriorating when we have to watch an advert on ITV that states 'Gas and cowboys dont mix'  - together with the disgusting sound effects? Surely there are other ways to make people take notice. Whoever thought that on e up shouldn't be allowed to make any more adverts.

I totally agree, I first saw it when eating my breakfast a couple of days ago, it turns my stomach every time it comes on

    Disgusting

I agree. they always seem to show this at breakfast time as well when we are eating our Cheerios - also I hate that little brat that "wants to do a poo at Pauls".

That's a clip from a brilliant film - Blazing saddles perhaps not what you want to see at breakfast but an iconic scene never the less.

The monster who wants a poo at pauls however just needs a slap !

There's a few new versions of 'Poo at Paul's House'  doing the rounds at the moment, all of them better than the original! (not hard!!)

The scouse version is funny, (tho a bit crude?)

Are we allowed to put links to you tube on? anyone?

    Re: TV Ads

I hate the poo at Pauls ads too. I wish the mother would tell the kid to be quite. His whiney voice realy irriates me.

However the ads i hate more which spoil my viewing are the ones that now appear along the bottom of the screen for the next program. They often cut off half the screen so you cannot see the character properaly in the last few seconds and make the credits etc impossible to read. STOP this practice now it is so off putting!

A few weeks ago they showed one of these before the start of the 1st episode of Doc Martin and it showed the Doc seeing the pregnant Louisa for the 1st time. This scene was actualy shown rught at the end of the episode and spoilt it for me. This happens so often now.
