Dannii's comments about Danyl after his performance tonight were wholly inappropriate!

 

Who cares if he is or isn't bisexual?! What does his sexuality have to do with his ability to sing?!

 

Dannii should offer a public apology at the very least, or maybe even be taken off the show.

No offence, but as a gay bloke I dont really find what she said that offensive...a bit silly but really not that bad.

 Have you all read the articles about him....he doesnt exactly seem shy about his antics...

 Anyway my point is...Dannii should not be sacked and the show should go on....let them clear the air in pvt if need be and then all get on with our lives....

 Big overeaction I think....Dannii has been no more offensive that Simon is on a weekly basis...

 Danyl only looked defeated as they didnt all tell him how great he was.....

I completely understand and get that you dont find it offensive Robbie but that is not my issue. My issue with Danni's remarks is that it has nothing to do with mucis for one and two he was nervous enough as it was so it is out of order that she expected him to reply to this comment again which is based on newpapers. True or not it is not needed!!

I enjoyed the show tonight, but it was really spoiled by a very small minded comment made by Danni Minogue concerning a press article and one of the acts .

I don't want to hear that sort of stuff anywhere, there is no place for it in our society and I just hope she has the good manners and courage to apologise tomorrow night.

I totally agree, Danyl should be judged on his musical lperformance on the stage tonight anything else is irrelevant whether it is true or not. Danni's remarks were unnecessary.

I have never posted to a forum before but I was so shocked at Danni Minouges outrageous behaviour on tonights X Factor. The fact that she felt it necessary to repeat it more clearly for Simon is unforgiveable.  Anton Debeques comment, made in a private off-air conversation, pales into insignificance compared to this major gaff by Danni, live before millions of viewers.

Nothing was said about it in the X Factor follow up show, probably because evreyone associated with the show was probably too shocked to mention this serious breach of ettiquette. A singers sexual preference has nothing to do with their performance. There should be no debate, no questions, no apologies.........Danni must rightfully be sacked immediately.

Something is being made out of nothing is my opinion, of which I'm entitled to.

 All Dannii did was mention how Danyl needn't have changed the lyrics from what's been said in the papers about him. Anyhow it'll be forgotton soon. I'm sure Dannii will have the decency to apologise, if that's called for.

I'm absolutley shocked and appalled that Dannii tried to make capital by her shameful remarks about Danyl, it was a very nasty game to play just to try to win. She shoud get the sack. It's nobody's business but Danyl's what he is or does in his private life, and she knew exactly what she was doing by bringing it up how she did. If she stays on the programme I'll stop watching it.

I have never before actually felt the need to either contact a broadcaster or post a comment on a forum,but Dannii's comment's tonight shocked and offended me. No one not even the supreme being that is an X factor judge has the right to "out" someone on National TV. It was ill judged and completely unnecessary . A public apology to Danyl is necessary, as the comment was aired,  and not in private. Simon is a pantomomine baddie and a charicature of himself so we ignore his caustic comments to a certain degree, It is true that Dannii's comments are really only a reflection on her But in the light of the gaff this week, by a certain ballroom dancer it is unacceptable for Dannii, not to have to reflect on what she said, why she said it or  was it appropriate or necessary. Those of us who do not live our life in the public domain have make considered and well judged statements in our daily lives in our workplace. The x factor studio is Dannii's work place and the same standard if not higher should be expected of her.

I totally agree. I was so shocked by her comments that I e-mailed ofcom straight after the show. The judges are there to comment on the singing ability of the acts and not their personal lives.

I too have never felt the need to complain but last nights comments by Danni regarding Danyl Johnson sexuality were offensive and in bad taste.  The comments made by Danni were made to humiliate Danyl for her own ends. I thought the judges were there to judge the singing and stage presence and not comment on their sexuality.

i completely agree! i dont normally write on these things but i was sitting with my 11 year old watching a supposidly family show when she came out with that!!!! i am furious, she said that to gain points for her own personnal group and her own personal gain, she needs a good dressing down about how to behave and simon should have said more at the time. this is meant to be a family entertainment show, not a 'watch a bunch of ego's sniping with each other' show!!! this better stop or ill be switching off!

Dannii should ashamed of herself and should  offer a public apology to Danyl or resign, or they should sack her!

 

All three comments by Louis, Cole and Danni obviously highlighted THIER jealousy, vindictiveness, paranoia, cockiness, arrogance, unprofessionalism and showed they are scared of Daniel and made no sense whatsoever with their negative criticism on him, end of story.

It is 2009 and I have gone passed caring and I do not want to judge anyone by what they have been through in life, what they do in life, if they are nice or not and wherever they need a break or not (as long as they havent inflicted any criminal pain the world of course) I want to see someone step on the stage and preform their hearts out and deliver the job properly.

Personally I didnt get were Daniel was in the song, even though I knew the song very well, it appeared the song was chopped and changed to pieces for some stranged reason, but what he incoherently had to sing, he sang well.
