    Sally/Ashley/Laurel

I suppose they split Ashley and Laurel up, its so obvious. Ashley is being totally unprofessional. I love Laurel and Ashley characters and they work very well together. I know she is pregnant in real life, but couldnt they get her to visit her mother for a few months.

I hate this storyline. I know it hasn't been going on for long but it's really boring me now. I hate the fact that Ashley can't understand why his wife is not happy about his ex staying with them.

It is naff isn't it. Ashley is an intelligent man but cannot see the wood for the trees here.

Sally is going to turn out to be a bunny boiler, I'm sure of it. She is so insipid, I hate her!

The whole business is really irritating.  What wife would put up with having his ex living with them indefinitely, and how can Ashley (and her own father) be so blind to Laurel's feelings?  I think good old mad Bishop George puts the kibosh on it soon though!

My only surprise is that he hasn't been involved before now - after all, how long has it been since Sally left her husband - I would havethought that would have been reported to the Bishop much before now.

My suspicion is that purely because Vincent is such an egotistical prat, he would not have wanted Bishop George to know that his brow beaten wife had walked out on him.

After last night's "performance" by Sally, I'm beginning to wonder exactly who is the browbeaten one out of Vincent and Sally

She certainly appeared the brow beaten one initially, but you're right I should have put that in inverted commas.

Good for George  for having common sense, it needed someone from the outside to sort things.

If Ashley was thinking straight he would have given the same advice as George.

He just can't stop himself though can he, right in front of Bishop George he was telling her she didn't have to do anything she didn't want to. George, quite rightly, told him to butt out!

    Re: Sally/Ashley/Laurel

I read in the paper today that Charlotte Bellamy gave birth to her daughter on Monday, so congratulations to her on that. She's also meant to be out of the soap for just over a year, so I hope that the storyline pans out that she goes away with Sally to help her work out her mental issues and then comes back. I would hate for her and Ashley to split up, because they really do work as a couple and I love them together. Still, it won't work that way, nothing ever does in soapland.
