    Re: forum getting silly

The best thing about the forums is they treat a light topic - soaps- lightly. A good forum (like the gail and joe one) has lots of replies and meanders away from the starting block. Never take them too seriously - remember, no-one goes out of their way to upset anyone else but because people are different you are going to get different views. No-one has to agree with anyone else, after all. If they did no-one would bother to reply to a forum. I tend to think of us all sitting round the table with a glass of wine having a chat - arguments are bound to break out but no-one stops being friends because of it.  You can really believe the opposite of someone and still enjoy their posts, you know. As for it being closed, the forum will naturally run its course and fizzle out, they all do.

Now, open the bottle and pour a glass!

    Re: forum getting silly

No arguments with people disagreeing about different plotlines/charcters, if we all liked or disliked the same things it would be very, very boring.Sleep  That's what forums are for after all.  It's when it gets personal that it starts to get nasty and insults get thrown around, so come on folks, we are all adults (I hope) so let's act like it.  Lecture over!

    Re: forum getting silly

    Hi all,

A forum is where some one gives views and opinions. It would not serve any purpose if we all just gave the same view and opinion. I enjoy reading all the posts - some are perceptive, some are witty - most are interesting. I just like comparing other peoples take on CS with my own. But its only an opinion. On a forum like this no ones views are any better or any worse than anyone elses. We are not dealing with a court of law. We are not trying to find out some great hidden truth. Its just a take on some event in a fictional programme.  Lets not resort to personal attacks - otherwise I, and I dare say many others, won't bother reading the posts.

For what its worth, the actor and actress who play Gail and Joe, might have gone on holiday. They are allowed. Any way that just my opinion.
