    congrats to charlotte bellamy

Great news - Charlotte Bellamy (Laurel) has given birth to her first daughter, Teddie Boo Florence.

Charlotte and partner Mungo Denison had their third child yesterday at around 11am - she weighed in at 7lb 9oz.

"She is beautiful and perfect and we are totally over the moon!" said the actress.

Charlotte will be back at work in the New Year, but for now her character Laurel Thomas has to contend with her husband's ex, Sally Spode, living under her roof while she tries to sort out her marriage problems.

However, we can't help but notice how cosy Sally looks with her feet under the table at Mulberry Cottage...

What a ridiculous name. OK for a cute little baby but not as she grows older, can imagine what she will be called at school.  Huh?

Perhaps she will just decide on Teddie when she gets old enough, that's not too bad.

What is wrong with people that think by giving their child a strange name they are being clever or 'celebrityish'. Truth is its a stupid, horrible name for a wee child and the parents should be totally ashamed of themselves

I know it's not a fashionable name but Herbert is at least a proper name.  Not sure if it has any bearing on it but Charlotte's husband's name is Mungo!

You may think it's cute for a babe in arms but how would you feel to be an adult with that name, having to fill out forms etc. with such a ridiculous monicker? I suggest it would wear a little thin after the age of five.
