    The X-Factor!

I'm sorry, but after hooking me as a fan to the X-Factor, you've just lost me!  To have Danyl and Miss Frank down to the sing-off whilest those two, zero-talented, idiot twins went through to the next week just disgusts me.  It has to be a fix from the programme makers to keep the viewers viewing because the British Public wouldn't be as stupid as to let those two talentless whalleys come back!   They have no X-Factor.  I had to turn X-Factor off.  I couldn't bare to see either Danyl or Miss Frank perform again, one more time, for their lives, giving it there all, knowing that those to chimps were back stage thinking they had something!  I couldn't bare to see Danyl or Miss Frank be disappointed and realise just what a ***waste of time and effort they have been put through over the past weeks to be seen off by the twins from hell. They wouldn't even be good enough for am-dram panto!  Now for me the programme has no value.  I don't want to see who wins, because it doesn't mean anything,....

    Re: The X-Factor!

Problem is, how can it be a fix to keep viewers when loads of people are losing interest and saying they are switching off or over to Strictly Come Dancing. If that was the producers plan clearly it aint working. Maybe the phone voting is flawed because so many people say they can't get through, and that's just a tiny percentage who post on here, so who knows how big that problem really is. I will tune in next week because I feel sure commion sense will prevail in the end, and when Louis has no acts left in the last 8, (my gut feeling) maybe he'll reflect on whether he could have bought better talent to the fiinals in the first place.

    Re: The X-Factor!

The x factor is good when the real talent wins out. Unfortunately it is a farce at present, a waste of everyone's time.  Public idiotic voting is one thing, but when you have one judge putting through an "act" like John and Edward (who would be considered pretty poor at an amateur event) and another, Cheryl, opting out from sending home the weaker of the final 2 acts - Miss Frank, ITV does have some responsibiity to ensure that the judges act in a REASONABLE manner.   Danyl is obviously extremely talented. The judging came be pitiful.  Criticism if under confident, accusations of arrogance if confident, witness Louis telling Danyl "you haven't won yet".  Totally unjustified. One other point, why are people not allowed to express their talents and strengths in their own individual way every week? Why force a rock singer to sing big band or be a diva and then ciritisise and penalise them because they can't do it? Crazy and very very annoying.  Sort it out please, change the judges if necessary.

    Re: The X-Factor!

So, Danyl and Miss Frank were the worst performers on the night? No.

Lets think about who was voting. The ordinary voter over the age of 25 would perhaps vote once, and select, in their opinion, the best performer on the night (but with a little of the previous performances taken into account). Who would be the bulk of the voters, and how many times would they vote for the same act on the same evening? I would suggest the 12-18 age range, predominently girls, and perhaps voting many times via their mobiles. Therefore, would they vote for a cute 16yr old lad who they 'fancy' or a chap who is over 25? Would they also vote for a female singer who they could aspire to sing like, or perhaps see themselves as?

Now the main question is why are the twins still there? Well, they are anti-heros. Hated by many, yet some would vote for them because they may find them entertaining, or perhaps 'rocking the boat' so they keep voting them in. I personally find them an irritation, and they have no place on the show at this stage because they cannot sing, cannot dance affectively and appear to have a bad attitude. I prefer voting for talent; the type of talent I could listen to in concert or on CD. Not talentless individuals offering me no personal enjoyment or long term international success.

    Re: The X-Factor!

I personally think it is fixed - it simply has to be.  In my opinion, Lloyd should have gone last night, he was by far (twins excluded) the least talented singer.  Oh I forgot this is about singing!  Now I can understand young girls voting for Lloyd, but who the hell is voting for the twins - NOBODY, or a few here and there.

I am convinced it is fixed for optimum viewing figures.  I absolutely adore the X factor but I am fast loosing interest of the joke it is becoming and it is loosing credibility.

The judges need to be told, and that includes Simon, that they need to buck up their ideas and behave like adults and responsible judges, not little school kids.  I think the decision should be taken away from the judges because its all *** for tat.

    Re: The X-Factor!

i agree the show must be fixed.... or we are amongst a nation of talentless viewers who are just out to upset the apple cart.. the twins will never ever be able to cut a single and if they did it will be the first year the x factor finalist will not be number one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at xmas.    they may be humerous to some ( the judges minus simon ) if thats the case let them go on brits got talent !! ha ha see how far they get then , cos they aint got anyyyyyy . will not watch the show anymore till the aweful twins leave the building .....

    Re: The X-Factor!

It is an absolute joke that they are allowing talentless people to remain on the show whilst the talented people are made to leave... this weekend they should abort any voting from the general public and let the judges decide who should go, hopefully that way justice should prevail!!!

    Well said flirtykitty Yes

Why can some people just not accept that for whatever reason John and Edward are getting the most votes.  Surely the whole point of having a public vote is that you let the  VOTING PUBLIC decide.  I just can't wait so see Simon's face when the twins are in the final.  Big Smile

    Re: The X-Factor!

I would just like to say that I am not a fan of the twins, but it's not their fault that they are still in the competition. The public are keeping them in and for everyone who is moaning about them, are you voting every week for your favourite?

It's no good people moaning if they don't bother to vote. These are 2 very young lads trying to live the dream, and the way the audience booed them was disgraceful. At least they are singing live every week, which is more than could be said for Britney Spears last year!

    That's it! Rant over!      Soapbox

    Re: The X-Factor!

I agree Lucky leprechaun. My self I think Louie put the twins thro Just to annoy Simon Now I think he is kicking himself  The Twins will not win.Because people will end the show by voting for talent. It is a singing comp after all.ConfusedWhen the twins go out Louie is getting what he deserves.Miss Frank were really talented and he let them thro his fingers for the Twins. How mad is that. He lost a great act in Miss frank just to be spitful to Simon, Who we may not always agree with But he does know what he is talking about and does get things right My self I can not wait for the smile to be wipped off Louie face, Can some one tell Dannie to stop being so nasty she,s the one that started the nasties with regard to Danyl. WHEN IS SHE GOING TO GIVE US A SONG !!!!!!.To afraid I bet,Sleep

    Re: The X-Factor!

i agree john & edward are the worst act ever to get on the live finals in the papaers it says that if thay winn then simon will scrap the xfactor next year this for me and every one else who tryes out for the xfactor will be a great loss to the tallent that brittan has got i hope the public vote them off this week so the real comp can begin

    Re: The X-Factor!

Don't worry I'm quite sure that XFactor will be back next year whether John and Edward win or not.  Don't you think that Simon just loves the endless coverage that the twins are getting and everyone is talking about XFactor instead of Strictly.  Wouldn't be surprised it he signs them up when he sees how much money they are going to make from advertising deals.
