As i,ve said what is it actually worth to the winner??

From what i can see they get one single one album then gone ,,i think most people are in agreement that this year will be one of those years ,so would it really matter who wins ?

The record producers and the management get there money back through sales so they are not really paying a million cotract

The artist gets 12p for each sale so what would that really aquate too ,,if sales are poor they are never seen again ,and go back to there day job but not with a million in the bank

If the artist is good then they will make money for all parties but the million contract is not really there is it ??

I think it's becoming increasingly apparent that the show is a vehicle primarily for the judges and their agenda's .. it's pure luck if anyone contestant gets a sustained career out of it.

With the exception of Leona, Will Young, Kelly Clarkson and a couple of others, no one from a so-called 'talent' show will go on to have a successful recording career.

I'm not sure what the contract is worth (£1million I think), but a lot of people are under the illusion that the winner will get that amount of money which is far from being the case.
